During his doctorate course, he worked in Prof. Ching-Kang Ing\u2019s research team and focused on theoretical statistics. After graduation, Dr. Chi started his research work on machine learning in Prof. Fan Yingying and Prof. Lv Jinchi\u2019s research team at the University of Southern California. <\/p>\n<p>During his postdoctoral research, Dr. Chi made a breakthrough in high-dimensional random forests consistency and inference and received the 2022 IMS New Researcher Travel Award.
